Sell Cerrowire Surplus Wire and Cable

Sell Cerrowire surplus wire and cable to Texas Wire Buyers for resale and reuse, not scrap. We review boxed coils, full and partial reels, and usable cut lengths of NM-B, THHN and MC cable. Send photos and a footage estimate to get a written offer.

Sell Cerrowire Left From Jobs or Inventory

Unused Cerrowire from completed jobs, cancelled orders and excess inventory may still have value as electrical product. We buy reusable surplus from businesses, including contractor leftovers, distributor overstock and plant inventory. Keep the manufacturer labels and packaging with the material so we can identify what you have.

When comparing Cerrowire surplus buyers, distinguish an offer for usable product from a scrap offer based on metal weight. Reusable wire is usually worth more as product because the buyer is paying for wire that can be used again. Start with our offer form, or call 951-403-5738 with your list.

Cerrowire NM-B: Keep Box Labels With the Coils

For boxed NM-B, photograph the box label and the printing on the cable jacket. List the gauge, conductor count, number of boxes and footage in each box. Separate unopened boxes from opened packages, and mark remaining footage as estimated when you do not have an exact measurement.

Yellow, white and orange jackets help organize the lot visually, but color alone does not establish the cable specification. Include a clear label or jacket photo for each size. Our NM-B and UF-B selling guide explains the details to gather for residential building cable.

  • Keep different gauges and conductor counts in separate groups.
  • Show torn packaging, exposed ends or visible jacket damage.
  • Identify loose cut lengths separately from complete boxed coils.

Cerrowire THHN Reels: Record Size, Color and Footage

For THHN building wire, send a readable reel-tag photo and a close-up of the insulation print. Record conductor size, conductor material, color and the ratings actually printed on the wire. If the legend includes THWN-2 or another designation, include that rather than describing every reel simply as THHN.

Full reels and partial reels should be listed separately, even when the size and color match. If wire has been transferred to another reel, explain that and photograph the wire markings. See our THHN and THWN-2 wire guide for more identification details.

  • List each reel individually, with its footage or remaining-length estimate.
  • Show the entire reel, including flanges and any visible damage.
  • Keep labels attached and avoid mixing loose wire from different reels.

Have reel tags or a footage list? Send photos and we will review the lot.

MC Cable Coils Need More Than an Armor Photo

Interlocked armor alone does not tell us everything needed to identify an MC cable coil. Photograph the package label, any readable cable markings and an accessible cut end. Include conductor gauge, conductor count, grounding details and footage when those details are available from the label.

Keep coils secured without crushing the armor, and show any flattened sections, sharp bends or damaged ends. Tell us if the cable is unused leftover material or was previously installed. Our MC cable selling guide covers the information to include when offering armored building cable.

Prepare One Clear Cerrowire Lot List

A useful list connects each package or reel to its photos. Give each item a simple identifier, then record the product type, gauge, conductor count where applicable, footage and condition. Include a whole-lot photo so we can see how the boxes, coils and reels are grouped.

You do not need to unroll every coil just to start the conversation. Tell us which quantities come from labels and which are estimates, and explain how you estimated them. Our wire photography guide can help you capture readable tags, jacket legends and cut ends.

  • Separate unused stock from previously installed cable.
  • Note missing labels, uncertain lengths and mixed packaging.
  • Describe storage exposure and show visible corrosion or insulation damage.

Written Offers and Texas Pickup for Cerrowire

Send your photos and list through the online form or email industrial832@gmail.com; you can also call to discuss the lot. We review the material and make a written offer before pickup. We arrange pickup anywhere in Texas. You can also drop off by appointment at 6402 McGrew St, Houston, TX 77087, in southeast Houston near I-45 and Loop 610; call first. Tell us how the lot is stored and about access restrictions so we can discuss collection arrangements.

We verify the seller and proof of ownership, such as an invoice, purchase order, closeout paperwork or company letter, and keep a written purchase record. Our Texas seller paperwork guide explains what to prepare.

Keep Reusable Cerrowire Separate From Scrap

Do not strip usable wire or combine identifiable coils with damaged scrap before requesting an offer. Original labels, readable jacket markings and known lengths help us assess the material for reuse. Keep boxes dry and cable ends protected while you gather the information.

Age alone does not establish whether wire is reusable; identification, condition and useful lengths matter. We also review used cable that remains in reusable condition, but not every old cable qualifies. If material is not reusable, we say so honestly—it may belong with a scrap recycler instead. Common questions

What should I do with unused Cerrowire electrical wire?

Keep it labeled and grouped by type, size and length, then request a reuse offer before stripping or scrapping it. We review full reels, partial reels, boxed coils and usable cut lengths. Send photos of the packaging, wire markings and whole lot, along with your quantity list. Note any opened boxes or uncertain footage.

Can I get money for old Cerrowire cables?

Possibly, if the cable is identifiable and still in reusable condition. Tell us whether it was installed, removed from service or simply stored as unused inventory. Include photos of the jacket, ends and any damage. We assess it as reusable product, not just copper content, and will tell you if it belongs with a scrap recycler instead.

Can leftover NM-B cable be reused?

Unused leftover NM-B may be suitable for resale and reuse when its type, size, length and condition can be established. Previously installed cable needs a closer condition review; do not assume it qualifies because the jacket looks clean. Send label and jacket photos, disclose installation history, and show damage so we can evaluate the material you want to sell.

Can I sell an opened box or a partial reel of Cerrowire?

Yes, we review opened boxes and partial reels as well as full packages. Record the remaining footage or provide an honest estimate, and keep each size separate. Photograph the original label and wire markings, especially if the package is incomplete. Explain any re-reeling or mixed contents so the written offer can describe the material accurately.

Are wooden wire spools worth anything when selling Cerrowire?

Our purchase focus is the reusable wire or cable, not the empty wooden spool. If wire remains on a reel, show the reel condition along with the tag and remaining footage. Tell us if a flange is broken or the reel cannot be moved normally. Do not count empty spools as wire inventory in your lot list.
